This place ROCKS! I got a Tunnel brand cruiser with quality trunks, bearings & wheels for less than what you'd pay for a Chinese made P.O.S. cruiser (think District on Venice).
You had skate pros coming in every few minutes to have their gear adjusted & just taking in the atmosphere of the shop was worth every penny in the parking meter.

There is a lot of history in this place. I highly recommend anyone interested in skateboarding visit this gem of a shop, or historic landmark as it no doubt soon will become.

Just tested my board down 16th st from montana to california ave, not a very steep hill, but this thing sure picks up speed, almost bit the tarmac, something tells me the trunks need tightening. Helmet & kneepads make a lot of sense right about now...
