A Few Thoughts About Trailballin'

The General expressed concerns about the littering factor when shooting paintballs out in nature. Remember that he also talks to plants & brews his own hemp tea out of recycled cloth diapers in between visits to the Coffee Bean and Jamba Juice...

More important concerns are the safety of the Paintballers (us) and any passersby, however unlikely that may be in the remote area where we will be playing.
Rules suck, but after frequenting a few Paintball parks, it proved "painfully" clear that they are needed. So here's a few, modified to suit our Trailballin' needs.

1, Face masks are to be worn at all times during the entire course of each game, do NOT take off your helmet just because you got popped. This rule applies equally to spectators.

2, When you get shot, put your marker over your head and walk off the playing area. A quick "I'm hit" is sometimes helpful when being shot at by someone suffering from trigger-happytnitis. But, no one respects a moaning cry baby... General?

3, Be inconspicuous, this is a great spot/field & it would be a shame if some park ranger alerted to our presence catches us, not to mention the legal repercussion we'd face.

4, There will be times when you disagree about who is out or not, it always happens whenever you have 2 parties of opposing views & goals. To bypass this problem, rule # 4 is: YOU can only call yourself out. NEVER ever call anyone else out, EVEN if you know they got shot.
This may sound unfair, but it makes for a much more fun game.
As for calling yourself out, if it hurts, you're dead, whether or not the paintball breaks. If you felt something, check for paint to see if you got shot. If not, keep playing. If you are 100% sure you got someone and they don't call themselves out, you didn't do a good enough job of convincing them. Don't bitch, shoot them again! Think of this as the difference between injuring someone & getting a clean kill.

I guess the barrel plug rule can be nixed, just for the satisfying purpose of seeing sensational shoot himself in the foot again.
