Most video games, why bother?

I just had the opportunity to try Frontlines, "Fuel of war" on the 360. After about five minutes of gameplay, I couldn't take it any more and just turned off the console. Am I just a slave to titles such as Halo 3 and COD4? Is it wrong to dismiss any game that not instantly meets their standards? I say fuck it! I'm not goting to waste time and money "trying" to like a game just because it was made. When I think of all the money wasted throughout the years buying games that ended up on the shelf a few hours after purchase, I probably could have bought another new car!

Just let me know when the next great game comes out, and I'll be there!
