The Paradox that is The Home Depot

Can the worst possible store for customer service also have the best customer service? I'd like to share something that happened just the other day as we were painting our new office room. The paint we originally thought to be a very light grey turns out a putrid pink once rolled on the walls, and having paid over $100 for everything, we couldnt just trash it. Custom color is "non returnable" you see... Before Jacqueline even finishes suggesting we take it back to the store to see if they can fix it, I've already written off the idea in my head, regurgutating all the bad memories of waiting for help at the paint department (or any other department for that matter). Experiences that would make you wish you were waiting for assistance at the DMV! But she was persistent, and there we were. Get to the end of it, you say? Sure, we get all the help we need, and advice, and a smile, and no excessive waiting, and the paint looks great!!!!
So next time I go to the Depot, i'll leave my negativity at the door and maybe, just maybe I'll be greeted with a smile again!
